Parents & Friends

Parents and friends of St Patrick’s make a very important and valued contribution to the school, and ultimately our children, by being involved in the Parents and Friends (P&F) Association.

As a sub-entity of the Board of Management, the Parents and Friends Association works in partnership with the school and the wider school community to provide support for our parents and children.

P&F Meetings are held after school hours periodically through the year.  During these meetings upcoming P&F events are planned and discussion is focussed on ways the P&F can support the school and our children.  Areas of interest for all parents are discussed.  We help new parents to feel welcome in our school community.

The St Patrick’s Parents and Friends Association provides:

• support to our parents and families.
• a welcoming atmosphere for all parents.
• a channel of communication between school and parents.
• assistance to the school through occasional fundraising activities.
• mechanisms to encourage social interaction between parents, students, and the wider school community, e.g. family events and dinners.
